I’ve been around computers in classrooms for the better part of a half-century and have seen just about everything. My experience and learner-centered perspective has been assembled into a whitepaper, “Minimally-Invasive IT.” This whitepaper contains practical advice, wit, and wisdom for IT staff, school leaders responsible for supervising support personnel, Board members, and teachers affected by policies that may be counterproductive. I have long maintained that the functionality of school technology is critical to classroom success, a good return on investment, and a potential labor issue.
