I am thrilled to announce that Joey Hudy will join the esteemed faculty of Constructing Modern Knowledge July 8-11, 2014 in Manchester, NH. Joey is a legend in the maker movement for his ingenuity, intelligence, and ability to shock the President of the United States by firing a marshmallow cannon in the White House. He really knows his stuff!

Recently, Make named Joey Hudy, “One of the 10 smartest kids on the planet” and has earned two “Editor’s Choice” awards from Maker Faire.  Mr. Hudy is the inventor of the 3x3x3 LED Cube Arduino shield and the Joey Hudy #1 SMD LED Arduino shield. The proceeds from his inventions fund trips to Maker Faires around the world. Recently,  Joey’s has been focused on making life-size 3D scanners.

Joey’s blog, Look What Joey’s Making, reminds visitors to “Don’t be bored… Make Something!” This slogan has  been adopted recently by the White House to inspire various S.T.E.M. initiatives.

Joey’s talent and expertise will surely inspire and assist the educators who participate in Constructing Modern Knowledge 2014! By the way, Joey Hudy is 16 years-old.
