First day, last day:
There will be a friendly yellow school bus available to transport CMK attendees from the downtown Chattanooga area to the Global Center for Digital Innovation (our CMK venue, see below). It will leave from in front of the Doubletree Downtown Chattanooga hotel (407 Chestnut St.). This is across the street from the Holiday Inn and close to most downtown hotels. It will also return at the end of each day to the same area.
Institute Dinner – Monday July 25th 7:30PM – To celebrate the beginning of our CMK journey, CMK attendees are invited to attend the special Institute dinner at the Rodizio Grill (439 Broad Street), located in the back of the Holiday Inn. The dinner is an all-you-can-eat Brazilian churrascaria, with many options and a huge salad bar.
The CMK Institute Dinner is included with your CMK registration. If you would like to bring additional guests ($45), please email Sylvia Martinez (sylvia @ inventtolearn.com).
Big Night Out at the Ballpark – Tuesday July 26th 7:15PM – After a day of hard fun at CMK, you deserve a night under the stars for a minor league baseball game between arch rivals, the Chattanooga Lookouts and the Rocket City Trash Pandas at the AT&T Field (201 Power Alley). See the map here. This is about a 5 minute walk from the Holiday Inn and Doubletree hotels.
Ticket and stadium food is included in your CMK registration. A meeting place and time will be announced for ticket distribution. Additional tickets for friends and family may be purchased ($20), please email Sylvia Martinez (sylvia @ inventtolearn.com).
If you are definitely not planning on attending the dinner or ball game, please let Sylvia know!
CMK will be held at the Global Center for Digital Innovation (GCDI) located in the CETAS building (#16) on the campus of Chattanooga State Community College. The address for Uber/Lyft or GPS is 4353 Amnicola Hwy, be sure to drive into campus all the way to the CETAS building. See the map below or this online map. The campus is also served by the public bus.
Parking – You can park for free in the nearby P17 parking lot.
